Psilocybe cubensis “huautla” is a cubensis strain originally found in Huautla de Jimenez in Oaxaca, Mexico (dus the name). “Huautla” is a very popular strain because comes from the home village of Maria Sabina, the famous mushroom shaman. In the nahuatl language “huautla” means “land of eagles”. The Psilocybe cubensis “huautla” growns a thin and tall mushroom in pasteurized dung and straw substrate. The best optimal temperatures are 28 º to 30 º C for colonization and 22 º to 26 º C to fruiting.
